Elements Of EBM Are Taught
Although evidence based management (EBM) sounds straightforward, gathering, understanding and applying evidence requires a particular set of skills and practical knowledge. Not surprisingly, CEBMa feels that universities and business schools play an important role in developing (future) managers’ and leaders’ EBM skills and enhancing their understanding of how an evidence-based approach can support an organization’s decision-making and management practice. Below is an overview of universities and business schools that offer courses in which elements of EBM are taught. Several of these universities make use of the online learning modules CEBMa has developed in cooperation with CMU’s Open Learning Initiative.
